Determining your hosting package

Determining your hosting package can be tricky. First you need an idea of how much content you're going to put on your site. The more pictures/graphics, the more disk space you'll need but more importantly, the more bandwidth you'll need. (depending on how many visitors) When determining how much bandwidth you'll need, you must consider how much traffic your site will get. If your site is about poems with very few graphics etc, you won't need a big hosting package. If your site is for a used car lot for example, you're going to need more hard disk space to store more images/graphics. Every time you put a graphic on your site or remove an image, it uses bandwidth. If you have thousands of visitors viewing the images, it uses more bandwidth. The higher the traffic (bandwidth) and the more graphics you have on your site, the bigger the package you're going to need.
